Dr. Miller attended MSU for his undergraduate degree and then attended the University of Minnesota for his veterinary degree, graduating in May 2019. After graduation, he worked for three years at a small animal practice in Caledonia before joining the team at GLHA in August of 2022.

Dr. Miller always wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood and has a passion for fostering the human-animal bond. Dr. Miller's areas of interest include preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Dr. Miller currently lives near Grand Rapids. He helps care for a previous foster failure, Phoebe. In his spare time Dr. Miller likes to hike, travel, read, play board games, and spoil his nieces and nephews.
